About Us


VinatageImage1Community Closet is a non-profit thrift-store, opened in October 2005, to provide low-cost, pre-owned, clothing and household items.

The Community Closet Board of Directors distributes profits to charitable activities in Park County, with over $110,000 distributed since our opening.

Store merchandise is also given to schools and other non-profits at no cost. Vouchers are given to those who cannot afford needed purchases.

Charitable funding guidelines and funding application are available at the store, or by phone at 406-222-6200.

Funding may include, but is not necessarily limited to:

  • Recreation scholarships/equipment
  • Community functions
  • Educational programs
  • Youth programs
  • Assistance in response to catastrophic events or illnesses
  • Support of existing non-profit organizations/special programs

Monday-Friday 10:00-5:30, Saturday 8:00-4:00.
Our Alley Annex, in the alley behind the main store, is open Sundays 12 Noon to 4.
